Street Closure Notice:

Second Street at the railroad crossing will be closed tomorrow  Thursday, March 27, 2024,  starting around  7:15 am.    We anticipate this repair to be completed by 3:30 pm.   We are removing the limestone patch and replacing it with asphalt.

STREET CLOSURE NOTICE:

Gulf Coast Water Authority will start their interconnect project on their water lines starting  Monday, March 25, 2024.   This will involve road closures at Martin Luther King Ave.,  ( North Railroad ), and Drew Street until completed.   While the work is being done Gulf Coast Water Authority will shut down their water lines which supplies water to the area.   The City will use water from our water wells during this period, which will have minimal effect on our residents.   The project is expected to take 5 - 7 days to complete.

There is a break in the water line on Fairwood.  Residents will experience low or no pressure in the area.  The City crew is on site.  Please be mindful of the workers.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION AND STREET CLOSURE:

Blazey Construction Services will be working on the culvert crossing on Delaney Rd at the KB Homes/Sunset Grove site starting Monday, March 25, 2024, at 9:00 am.  The crossing will be done one lane at a time.  Flaggers will be on site directing the traffic flow. Traffic control items will be installed the Friday before.  The crossing should be completed in one week and total restoration should be completed within two weeks.  Please drive slowly during your commute and be mindful of the workers in the area.
