Officer Daniel Crenshaw started his professional career when he enlisted in the US Army straight out of high school. Officer Crenshaw served in the Army Reserves as a member of the 302nd Military Police until the end of his contract in 2010. 

Officer Crenshaw is a native of the Houston/Clear Lake area and attended the Alvin Community College Police Academy in 2008-2009. He has worked for several agencies during his career allowing him to bring a variety of experience and knowledge to the Hitchcock Police Department.

Officer Crenshaw is an Advanced Peace Officer working on his Master Peace Officer license. He holds numerous specialty certifications including, but not limited to, Field Training Officer, Taser Instructor, Criminal/Arson Investigator, and Mental Health Officer.

Officer Crenshaw has set goals of attending a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Course as well as being able to serve in the Criminal Investigations Division.
