Sergeant D. Dorsey is a Patrol Sergeant for Hitchcock Police Department, where he has served the community with professionalism, integrity, and dedication since 2020. Along with having family in law enforcement, Sergeant Dorsey has a total of 4 years in law enforcement and holds his Intermediate Peace Officer’s License.

Sergeant Dorsey is currently in college to obtain his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and hopes to promote within the department. His long-term goal in law enforcement is to become a Chief of Police or Sheriff. Sergeant Dorsey is dedicated to helping others in the community, which is an asset to the Hitchcock Police Department.  

Outside of work, Sergeant Dorsey enjoys spending time with his family, practicing his skills at the gun range, and hopes to one day invest in real estate.
