Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Hitchcock will be canceling or postponing the following:

• the regularly scheduled Commission meeting in April. The next meeting will be on May 18, 2020 at 6:00pm.
• the Municipal Court docket for the month of April. These cases will be rescheduled for a future court date. You will be notified by the court.
• Spring Clean Up for March 27th & 28th has been postponed until further notice.
• May 2020 election is being rescheduled to November 2020 per proclamation by Governor Greg Abbott.

- The Hitchcock Public Library is canceling their 50th Anniversary Celebration.
- The Galveston County Animal Resource Center has decided to cancel the public vaccine clinics the weekend. We are practicing social distancing and want to avoid unnecessary crowds of people, as recommended by the CDC.
